For the price.....its well worth trying....im light on my funds and my addiction for Puer....is like a Heroin addiction....i have Systemic Mastocytosis....up until 3 weeks ago....SINCE DECEMBER....one of the triggers of this disease is stress...leading to massive stomach issues...NOT ANYMORE...PUER....is a genie in the bottle....AMAZING....as you can see by the photos....i have two Yixing clay teapots...the black one is 500 ml....the other...is 150 ml....this tea is a light....very subtle flavor....and MYSELF....i like ...IN YOUR FACE....strong Puer and Chinese Red tea....so im brewing strong.....My tea water is at 94c...at 200 ml per pour in my black 500 ml Yixing Tea Pot....tea wash first...the first pour is at 40 seconds....and the next two the same....tasting each pour.....at the end of the third pour..... yielding a little over 500ml...of deliciousness.... total......i decided to rebrew the 3 pours....at 5 min....that was perfect....i used two of the mini Tuo Cha....this is my Gong Fu Cha....amazing tea for the price

I'm new to this type of tea, but to describe it the best I can, it almost feels thicker than regular tea as far as mouthfeel goes, and has a rich, earthy flavor. I used one puck and made 3 qts of amazing iced tea with it. It also has a fantastic reddish brown rich saturated color. A delight to drink!

This tea is good and has good flavor, however it is a tightly packed cake of lose leaves, as in leaves that are all grinned to a uniform tiny shape. Does not look to be left overs but I was expecting better tea leaves for sure due to the price. Had a slightly flowery flavor,

My favorite Puerh tea was the brand you could get at Peets coffee but that is hard to come by now. I tried a few other Puerhs that tasted weak or had a funny after taste that made me suspicious of them. Who knows the quality of a lot of teas and where they come from.I really like this one. Its flavorful and rich but not too much so. And the little foil packets are really convenient.

Reasonable value for money. I would recommend this to someone who is familiar with ripe/cooked puerh, who is looking for a daily drinker, and doesn’t mind wet-pile taste. It brews up nice inky black for initial steeps. I suggest flash brewing for the first few infusions.

First time trying fermented tea, and wow. I was afraid it might be overly strong, or tart or bitter or I don't really know, but this is none of those things. The bricks are sometimes difficult to break in half, so I just make a pot with those ones, otherwise, half a brick is perfect for a large cup. This tastes just like oolong, which happens to be one of my favorites. I accidentally let it steep too long the 2nd time I tried it, and although it got pretty bold, it was surprisingly not bitter at all. Even if left to sit it doesn't get bitter, it's like magic lol- great for the easily distracted who often forget they have tea steeping until it's icky. This is perfect, plain, soothing tea.

Good tea but cakes are over-pressed. It is impossible to brake it if you want to have a half. One cake is too much for one brewing, at least for me. Will not buy again only for this reason. The taste is quite good. Well packed. No mold or any foreign matters.

Cakes are sized so you can make a number of very cups of tea. As good as any other Puerh Tea I have purchased. Will definitely buy again.

This is a great value for the cost. It takes a bit of effort to break them up, but once you get it broken in half, it's easy to break up the rest. good flavor, not too strong or weak. I get about a teapot and a half out of one tea cake. :)
